ROOTS POLYCRAFT - INTRODUCTION

Roots Polycraft of the Roots Group, was founded in 1988 and is a leading manufacturer of plastic injection moulding components. Located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, we specialize in producing high-quality components for a wide range of automotive and industrial applications.

Our advanced capabilities include:

  • Injection Moulding: We operate state-of-the-art injection moulding machines, both vertical (45T) and horizontal (50T to 550T).
  • Ultrasonic and Stored Energy Welding: We offer ultrasonic welding of plastic components and stored energy welding for metal inserts.
  • Plastic Extrusion and Sub-assembly: We handle plastic extrusion and sub-assembly processes.

We process a diverse range of engineering thermoplastics, including ABS, Nylon 6, Nylon 66, PPS, TPU, TPE, PPO, PPE, POM, PBT, LCP, PMMA, PC, and PC+ABS.

Our facilities include:

  • Raw Material Testing: Moisture analyzers, melt flow index equipment, and ash content checking tools.
  • Dimensional Checking: Height masters and various product-related tests such as leak and load testing.
  • Annealing and Dehumidification: We offer annealing as per customer requirements and have dehumidification facilities for enhanced raw material quality.

We also boast:

  • Tool Room Facility: Capable of manufacturing injection moulds up to 850T, supported by a design center equipped with the latest software, including SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD, and Mastercam.
  • Export Capabilities: We hold an export license and supply automotive components to Europe.
  • Custom ERP System: Our ERP system manages raw material, mould monitoring, and invoicing.
  • Poka-Yoke Systems: Implemented for mould safety and raw material preheating monitoring.
  • Mould Storage: A specialized storage facility ensures careful handling and maintains mould condition.
  • Additional Services: Laser etching, pad printing, laser marking, and machining.
